Moving Veterans Forward (MVF) helps homeless and transitioning Veterans take the next step after securing housing. Based in Papillion, Nebraska, MVF works with Veterans in Nebraska and Iowa by providing furniture, household essentials, clothing, food, and other necessities needed to turn an empty house or apartment into a home.

MVF works alongside the VA and other community partners to help Veterans transition into stable housing and become more self-sufficient. Their volunteers help with everything from collecting and delivering donated furniture to helping furnish a Veteran's new home and providing continued community support.

Who is it for?
Veterans who are transitioning out of homelessness and into permanent housing in the areas served by Moving Veterans Forward.

Additional Chapter:
Moving Veterans Forward also has a North Central Iowa chapter that works with Veterans in that region, helping provide the same type of housing transition and furnishing support to Veterans in need.

If you or a Veteran you know has recently secured housing but needs help getting the essentials to make that house a home, Moving Veterans Forward may be able to help.
